Influenster Voxbox Head & Shoulder Review

Damage Rescue Shampoo and Conditioner

Today I am going to review my 3rd Voxbox from Influenster. It was very exciting to receive another email saying I was qualified to get the next special voxbox and this time I got to try the new full size Head & Shoulders shampoo and conditioner!

Last year I remember receiving my very fisrt Voxbox named the Latina Beauty Voxbox who was exclusively for hispanic heritage. I felt the luckiest girl to be chosen for the first time finally. Once I received my first box I got to do brand challenges which are optional but it's fun to do them..plus you get to earn more freebies from the companies you choose to review. I did it and won one of the brand challenges and got an email saying that I could qualify for the next Voxbox during fall and this is it! Now I get to review this great duo.

With the first try I could honestly say that my hair was very soft and shiny. I love the smell and I could see the roots on my scalp more moisturized. I've been trying this for over a month and the results are consistent. The only downside about it is that I notice my hair getting oily after the next day I washed it. Instead of using it every day and I only use it twice a week now to avoid oily hair. I love how my hair looks smooth and shiny on the picture below:

The brand challenge for this Voxbox was to enter a contest via the brand's Facebook page of Head & Shoulder for women. To complete my task, I entered the contest and shared what is my hair routine on a daily basis. After submitting my entry I also had to invite a couple of friends to participate. Finally, the last thing was to upload to Influenster a screenshot of my entry on the registration the page
to prove I had entered which is the picture below:

This is what Head & Shoulder promises you:
"The Head & Shoulders Damage Rescue system was developed specifically to nurture the scalp and dry damaged hair with intensive care, leaving hair up to 10x stronger in just four washes. Because of the carefully balanced combination of ingredients in the formula, Damage Rescue delivers both, intensive hair and scalp care with the proven anti-dandruff efficacy of Head & Shoulders."

I received this product complimentary to test through Influenster's Voxbox program.

December Haul and Christmas Presents

❅ Hello Kitty  Bath & Body Works

❅ Physician Formula  Essie  Walmart

and ❅ Bath Bed & Beyond ❅

❅ Hello Kitty

This is one of my favorites things I got for Christmas because it's from Hello Kitty and because I've been wanting a wallet for the longest time. I am in love with this long wallet Nugeisha inspired! It's the cutest I could find in the Sanrio.com store and for only $35.00 plus shipping so total was actually $45.00

I love the design, It's a gorgeous bright pink.  It has six credit card pockets and one pocket at the very end to put your ID or any picture. The only downside is that these pockets are so tight and fit it will not let me insert a card in the last  ID holder because of the others on top. It has to sides to put your cash so that's plenty of space if you like to carry a lot of money. The zipper coin holder has a super cute Geisha fan.

The left picture shows the back of the wallet with an extra opening to put more stuff. When opening the wallet it has 6 more pockets for credit cards or business cards.

A picture just showing the back of the wallet completely.

I love the cute pin bow! I could use it for different things.

❅ Bath & Body Works

This is a Christmas present I got for my mother and she loved the Candy Apple, it's one of my favorite too and reminds me of an old scent from BBW many years ago. The Shea Cashmere & Silk is normally for $10.00 but only paid $5.00 and for such a small bottle I believe that should be the real prize! The small sanitizers called pocketbac were 5 for $5.00 and since I had a coupon for a free item with any $10 purchase I got the Paris Amour for free.

I took this picture to send it to BBW as my Christmas collection last year but I've added a few more things this year so it's bigger now. The ones I got this Christmas during the buy 3 get 3 free were only the Pink Sugarplum, Frosted Snowberry, Winter Candy apple, Cashmere Glow, Paris Amour, and Paris Amour bubble bath. As a Christmas present I got the Pineapple Mango, Caribbean Salsa, Sparkling Icicles, Sweet on Paris lotion  and the red ornament fragrance plug. The rest I bought back in black Friday 2012.

❅ Physician Formula

The Custom eye enhancing eyeliner trio for defined brown eyes are very pretty shades and when layered together they looked even better like the picture below.

This is my first time buying a Physician Formula 2-in 1 bronzer &blush and what caught my
attention first was the pretty pink packaging with hearts. The mirror and the red with pink duo brush it's a very nice detail that makes it be even more perfect. I really love make up or products that have cute packaging and I believe it makes girls like me want to buy it even more...sometimes packaging is the only thing that matter for some girls.
On the packaging says "The three coordinated blushing shades can be used individually or layered and bronzer adds warmth for a natural tan glow while blushing shades enhances and accentuate cheeks for a radiant glow."  Also, I find to be very interesting that this product claims to make you feel happy! It says" Infused with our Happy Boost Blend featuring Happy Skin and Euphoryl, natural plant extracts which have been shown to promote a feeling of happiness by mimicking the effect of Endorphins and helping protect the skin from environmental stress." It is hypoallergenic, paraban free, and non-comedogenic so it will not clog your pores. The blush layered looked very pretty on my cheeks and the bronzer is  lightly applied over the face and neck for a natural-looking tan glow. The blush can also be layered on top of the bronzer for the ultimate effect and this retails for $12.67 at Walmart.

❅ Essie

The all in one base total nail treatment is one of my favorite purchases too because it made my nail color stay on for much longer. It keeps my nails stronger, shinier which I love and can be used with or without a nail color. Use it first by applying 1 coat as a base then let it dry; apply 2 coats of your favorite nail polish. Then put one final coat as a protective finish. You could also re-apply as many times you want to maintain a great manicure.
Ingredients includes:
  • Argan oil- for smooth conditioning.
  •  Vitamin A, C, and E for enrichment.
  • Nail builders to promote strength and growth

Next is the disappearing trick conditioning cuticle remover and it claims to "help smooth and perfect your nails." It conditions cuticles and vanish excess cuticle in seconds. Using this product did nothing of a difference to my cuticles. Maybe it did condition my cuticles because they tend to get dry but applying lotion fixes that too. What I did liked about this is the tip shaped as pencil which makes it easier to glide it on the cuticles.

Ingredients includes:
  • Softening cuticle  removing agent
  • 10 natural conditioning oils
  • Moisturizing Vitamin E

❅ Walmart

This is just a vanilla cream scented soap I found back in December and got it for $5.00 at Walmart. The first time I found about it was from sparklyblonde1 youtube channel video called "Christmas Gift Ideas - Christmas Shopping Haul." I bought this purely because I loved the big cupcake design and thought it was very cute.  Once I finish using it I will keep using it as decoration in my bathroom and fill it with more soap.

❅ Bath Bed & Beyond

A SoundSpa Portable Sound Machine with 6 nature sounds. I've always wanted to get one of these because  I found these really relaxes me and makes me fall asleep faster. The sounds are: rain forest, ocean, heartbeat ( for babies), summer night, rain, and waterfall. It is small enough to carry it with you anywhere if you want, powered by batteries and with a plug. This retails for $19.99 and I also found about this when  sparklyblonde1 mention this in one of her youtube videos. She always find the cutest and great buys!
